Nursery pupils have been exploring the traditional story of The Gingerbread Man. They acted out the story and built bridges so the Gingerbread Man could cross the river safely. They also made their own Gingerbread Men. They smelt and explored the spices, weighed and mixed the ingredients, rolled out the dough and cut out their figures. They then decided how many buttons they would put on their Gingerbread Men using dried fruits. Finally they ate the Gingerbread Men before they could run away!
