Pancake Day!
The Nursery children have been learning about Shrove Tuesday. They talked about who ate pancakes at home, listened to stories from different cultures about pancakes and decided on their favourite fruit toppings. As part of their learning,, they carefully cut up a variety of fruit and then chose which fruit they would like as a topping for their own pancakes. They counted how many children chose each type of fruit and found out that strawberries are the clear favourite!
