Reception Forest School

We are really enjoying going to Forest School.

In week 1 we explored the forest and Miss Brooks taught us the rules we need to stick to that will keep us safe.

In week 2 we talked about different animals that would live in the forest – we decided that tigers and elephants were not woodland animals! We thought about stories that are based in the forest or woodlands and we discussed how we would find mice, hedgehogs, foxes and rabbits. We then split off and in groups with our friends we built houses for the animals using materials found in the forest. We hope you enjoy looking at some of the amazing homes we built.
